• Managed Software Update (Finder > Applications > Managed Software Center) allows the end user to update non-Apple software that the network administrator has made available (Skype, Firefox, Adobe Flash, for example) and Apple software (system updates, iTunes, iPhoto, for example) without an administrator's password.  
  • The system must has the managed software update software installed and must be on campus to pull down these updates. 


  • Launch Managed Software Center (Finder > Applications > Utilities > Managed Software Center) and follow the onscreen instructions: 

  • You can also update Apple Software as well (iTunes, iPhoto, etc.) without an administrator's password by launching the App Store.
